Finally, You have a choice of where to get your haircut!!
Which would you preferr?
You walk into a chain salon and immediately are overwhelmed by loud sounds. You put your name on a list, and wait
around for anywhere between 20 min to an hour before you even get to sit in a stylists chair. While you wait, you are
offered only a hard and uncomfortable lobby chair, and the commotion of the several other people waiting in front of you.
You may have been to this shop several times, but every time you come in you see different stylists. As you wait, you take
notice of the haircuts on the people finalizing their service. The one that just paid walked out with hair all over his
back. You watch the stylists interact with the other customers, and quietly tell yourself which stylist you would prefer
to see.
Finally, it is your turn! Unfortunately, the stylist that calls you back is the one you didn't want. You walk to her
chair reluctantly, you just hope you get to walk out with a decent haircut. She starts to cut your hair, so far so good.
Then, she opens her mouth. She shares with you the events of her last evening, which will forever scar your mind.
Fortunately, the time you spend in her chair is a brief 10 minutes. She takes off the cape and you feel hair fall down
your shirt. You try to get as much hair off of your shirt as possible while following her to the desk. You pay her $20 or
so, and rush back to work. You are relived that the experience is over and try to forget about it. However, it is next to
impossible because you have hair all over your neck and back, causing you to itch severly.
Hours Later, you arrive home. Your wife meets you at the door. She looks at your hair and informs you that it is longer
on one side. Instead of going back to have your haircut corrected, you decide to where a hat this month.
I bet you can't wait to repeat this process next month.
Tired of the chop shop process, you decide to try somewhere new this month. You look online for barbers near your
home in Highlands Ranch. You come across a barbershop that has all 5 star reviews. My Barbershop is located on Countyline
and Qubec. You see that it runs on appointments only, and you are not accustomed to making one for a haircut, so you
contemplate just going back to the chain salon. As you ponder, you lift your hat to rub your head. You are quickly
reminded about your prior haircut from the hatband indention on your forehead. Then you get shivers as you remember the
hair all over your back, and the disturbing stories that you were exposed to.
So You pick up your cell phone and dial the number for My Barbershop, and make an appointment for tomorrow during your
lunch break.
You pull into the parking lot and see Sola Salons, you are very hesitant to go inside, thinking that this is clearly a
place for women. You convince yourself to go on in because you are already here and it's not like you haven't had to were
a hat before.
As you walk through a hall lined with sliding glass doors, you see that each room contains only one or two stylist
chairs. As you find room # 25, you notice a barber chair and the room has a den like quality. You are greeted with a
smile as you peer inside.
Pleased that you do not have to wait at all, you immediately have a seat in the barber chair. You are asked if you
have a music preference and offered a beverage. After you discuss what you would like for your haircut, you sit back, take
a drink and relax. You can tell that this barber is skilled and feel confident that you will leave with a good haircut.
After about 20 minutes, your haircut is finished and the cape is carefully removed to prevent hair from falling down
your shirt, which you greatly apreciate. Without having to move from the chair, you lean back into a shampoo bowl. A hot
steam towel is placed on your face and all of the loose hairs are washed away. After setting up, shaving cream is wiped
onto your neck and you feel the cold sharp edge of a straight razor gliding over your neck. The last time you felt that was
when you were a kid. Sure does bring back memories of your dads old time barber.
Time flies when your having fun and, after booking your next visit, your first experience at My Barbershop has come to
an end. You look in the mirror and it is obvious that this was one of the best haircuts you have ever had. Hair free and
looking phenomenal, you confidently return to work knowing that the future of your hair is in good hands.
Now it's your turn to have a personally tailored experience at My Barbershop.
